Alejandra recently retired after 20 years at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, a world-class organization, lifestyle brand, and experts on creating guests memorable experiences. She joined the company in 1993 and held numerous Executive Quality and Operations International and Corporate Global positions. Her efforts and leadership were rewarded when The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun earned the Mexican National Quality Award multiple times, and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company earned the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Alejandra has been the recipient of multiple awards and personal recognition acknowledgments for her achievements and leadership in the Hospitality Operations, Quality and Continuous Improvement field. She was named “The Young Hotelier of the World 1995” by the International Hotel Association and HOTELS Magazine. In 1998 Alejandra designed and implemented the Quintana Roo State Quality Program and was appointed as Director of the Quintana Roo Quality and Productivity Center by the State Governor.  She was awarded "The Best Practice Ritz-Carlton Award for 2004, 2005 and 2006"; named 2007 Quality Practitioner of the Year by the American Society for Quality; 2009 recipient of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company Leadership Award for implementing her best practices Company-Wide.
